On its booth at the Paris Airshow 2011 (B121 / Hall 2b), CGP will present one of its flagship products, the CERAFIL, coil wire in ceramic insulating resistant to extreme temperatures (1200°C).
Developed by CGP, this high temperature thread was originally designed to form the windings of high reliability, remaining in operation even during heavy thermal overload. The CERAFIL is widely used in many technological applications & aeronautic. CGP extended the use of this winding wire to new applications:
- Thermocouple alloy K type (Nickel Chromium / Nickel alloy) and type T (copper alloy / Copper Nickel) - On new metals, platinum rhodium type of extra-fine thread for micro-coil. Le CERAFIL détient des propriétés exceptionnelles : bonne résistance mécanique, thermique, faible densité, résistance élevée à l'usure, à la corrosion et aux agressions chimiques, légèreté et finesse et tenue aux radiations. The CERAFIL gets exceptionnal properties : resistant to thermal shock, ageing, corrosion and chemical or climatic attacks, lightness and slenderness and exceptional resistance to radiation.
